Really?

What is cuter than this:

To lazy to put the whole ball in her mouth apparently.

Peter Pan

Sorry for the blogging slump. I have just be overly tired the last few days. I'm back in the swing of things again though. Just needed a few days of sleep.

Anyways, back to my weekend.

Sunday we decided to watch the Laker game some place fun. So we headed out to the ESPN Zone on Downtown Disney. We left early because we heard that there was a "soft opening" for the new ride at Disney's California Adventure.

When we got to Downtown Disney we found that there was a car show going on! Mr. Bumblebee was fairly excited to say the least. Give him a V8 and some chrome and the boy is good. However, the cars were a let down for our style. It was mostly stock cars and we prefer the hot-rod selection.

Here are a few that caught our eyes though:
We got to the ESPN Zone and it was just nuts. I don't know what the hell we expected but we watched the game until it got rowdy and decided to walk around the park, I was feeling a churro anyways.

We actually headed to Fantasyland (a place we usually avoid like the plague) because Mr. Bumblebee couldn't remember anything about the Peter Pan ride (one of my favorites!). Took some fun pictures there:

Then came the time that I was told they might be letting guests onto the new ride. We headed over there and were DENIED! So sad. Oh well, looks cool from the outside.

So we went home after that and called it a night. Glad we didn't stick around the ESPN Zone since the Lakers lost and I didn't want to be harassed further by the "other" fans.

Fun day overall.

Lazy Day

Saturday we slept in. I don't think we got up before 11am which is really late for us. It was so nice! The dogs even slept in but they weren't tired for long. Eventually they were ready to get out and have some fun.

Our local dog park has been closed for a month. So we decided to try a new dog park. We headed out to the Laguna Hills dog park.

On my grading of dog parks, this particular one gets an C.

It was right on the 133 and the traffic is heavy and scary. There is no parking lot so we had to park on this huge street. Imagine my horror to unload my pups on that huge street please. If they got away from me for one second (which they never would, but you never know), they would have been history. I was so uptight about the whole thing. You also have to pay for the meter parking on the scary street. There are two parks but the small dog park was TINY. So we had to put them in the big dog park. The park butts up right to a hill and my dogs wanted to climb it the whole time. So most of my time was spent chasing them from the hill. No sitting areas, no shade. The major plus was the great grass.

So while I worried about them the whole time we were there, they had a blast.

Friday = Happy Hour!

It was a long work week for me. One of my favorite coworkers (they are all my favorite) is getting married next month and leaving us for good to finish up school. I am going to miss her so much. S's fiance was out on his bachelor party so we were all meeting up at the local El Torito for Happy Hour with her.

Confession: I h.a.t.e. El Torito. I really just hate texican. Can't stand the stuff. But I made an exception to have happy hour there since it was close by and the longest, it went till 8pm!

Good looking group for a bunch of ladies who just spent the past 9 hours with children under 4 huh?

Since Mr. Bumblebee works down the street from me (literally) we met up and went together. V also brought her hubby and they hit it off big time! They are such a fun couple, I can see us hanging out a lot more often.

We came home around 9pm and got a call from my parents. They were visiting my sister in Long Beach and wanted to meet up with us for dessert. Hell Ya! We met up with them at BJs on 2nd Street (favorite place to hang out in Long Beach) and heavily enjoyed a Pazookie.

Headed home after that and came home to surprisingly sleepy puppies. I expected them to be so full of energy since we were gone almost all day long but they were very needy and sleepy. I wonder what they were up to all day long...

Another Busy Weekend

It was a very busy weekend again for the Bumblebees.
Friday I didn't work so when Mr. Bumblebee got home we decided to head to Disneyland for the night. Called my parents up to just brag to them about going and they said they were on their way too! Score! So we met up with them. Fairly normal night at the park but we got to see them testing the new monorail. Pretty cool looking.
Saturday was getting a lot of stuff done. We had to-do-lists and were determined to get them done. We were pretty successful. We met up with Bumblebee IL's to see Bumblebee SIL's Boyfriend play in the regionals. They won! Sunday we had a couple's shower for some cousins on Mr. Bumblebee's side of the family. It was a nice family reunion. It seems that for the past 3 years we've had one of these to go to on the first weekend of June. It is so weird that last year it was us. Time flies.

My two ring bearers were there. They've grown up so much in a year. Makes me so sad.

The new couple is moving to AZ after the wedding so there were a lot of practical easy-to-travel gifts.

Bumblebee SIL kept the whole thing very entertaining for us. She's a crack up.

I loved her AYSO soccer pose with the margarita in the other hand.

The only bad part of the entire weekend was not nearly enough time with the kids. Look at these faces:

P.S. I got a new haircut if anyone noticed, trying out bangs...any thoughts?
