Halloween = FREAKED OUT
Thank you to cousin my Halloween DAY was really freakin' FREAKY! We both sat all day long talking about our ghost stories. Then my power went out and I wigged. Oh well, we had about 8 trick or treaters tonight and that makes me sad. It means I'm going to be eating a lot of tootsie pops on my own. oh well!

Tess and the Pumpkin
Picture of the pumpkin as promised. Tess was very concerned with having a pumpkin in her house. She had to smell it and make sure that it deserving to be in her home and that it would cause no harm to her or her parents. Really sweet though. I think Mr. Bumblebee did a pretty damn good job though if I do say so myself. The Bumblebee Inlaws were very impressed so that's always fun. To bad not many people will see it.
....how boring is my blog.

Halloween = Candy
So this year I can't possibly get into Halloween. Maybe it's the lack of kids, maybe cause it's on a Wednesday, I just don't care about it at all. I didn't even want to carve a pumpkin! Imagine me....not wanting to carve a pumpking. Well...Mr. Bumblebee talked me into it. So we carved a lovely bumblebee pumpkin of course. We aim to be cheeseball. Mr. Bumblebee worked on it for a full three hours and then would not allow me to help at all incase I "ruined" it. Psh. I allowed him to have his pride...I only wanted to seem like I cared enough. He's so cute though because he really does do his best at everything. And in the end I really was impressed with it. One thing I love about him is his determination. He doesn't always get 100% on everything but I know he's always trying his hardest. He is a hardwork and appriciates others' hardwork. Gotta love him! I'll post pictures later.
So this year for our candy selection we originally bought Swedish Fish Sour Patch combo but those didn't last so I ran out today and got my FAVE candy to hand out, Tootsie Pops. Ugh, takes me right back to my childhood. My Uncle Steve (godfather) used to be a manager for Target. My mom would take me to visit him and I'd run up to his office and he'd whisper in my ear to check his top drawer and inside would be full of red tootsie pops (my favorite) and he would give me one to eat then and 2 to take home. Those are the things that we remember about our childhood forever.

You & Me
...and puppy makes = no alone time for adults!
I've always read that when you spit a kid out, you don't have anymore alone time with your spouse but apparently the same goes for Dog too. I love Tess, but she is an attention whore! Everytime Mr. Bumblebee shows me some affection, she freaks out and runs inbetween us. We'll be in a completely different room than her and she'll hear us kissing and come in running like "What the hell do you think you are doing?!" Haha, oh well. It makes it interesting.

Fires
I can't even begin to talk about the fires, all I know is it scares me to think that I might have one cousin out there in these messes. I know I should care about the people who have lost their houses but everytime I hear about an injured firefighter I get goosebumps. I was talking to my cousin whose brother is the firefighter I speak of and I didn't want to mention how scared I am for her brother. I didn't want to worry her, but I know she has those worries. He isn't a firefighter yet and I so I have no major concerns, but the day he is...I'm going to be so nervous. I have enough faith in God to know that everything will always be as it should.
Here are some photos from Sunday when it all started:

Bumbleebee Gathering
Senor Bumblebee's family had a get together for the Bumblebee side of the family. So anyways, Bumblebee cousin has a freaking awesome Lotus Elise. This Lotus Elise happens to be my favorite car, it's perfect for a woman. So amazingly cool Bumblebee cousin allowed me to take a ride. We turned a corner at 80 MPH! Here are some pics:

Sick as a Dog!
I've been a bad blogger. I haven't updated in a few days but after Mimi's I got so sick. I still don't feel well yet. I just wanted to post that I have been horribly sick for the last three days! Yikes. Ok, I'm off to sleep some more...

Quiet Sunday
I love Sundays. I love them whether we get up and go to church or if we sleep in and do nothing. This Sunday me and the hubhers went to Disneyland. It was really busy there, which is so wierd at this time of year. Ever since Disneyland started their Halloween madness (i.e. Haunted Mansion Holiday) the crowds get busier every year. It sucks for us AP holders because we count on those off seasons to use our pass to the max! Oh well. We rode the matterhorn, autopia, pirates, and that's about it. I love going to just walk around and enjoy the park. I love love love to people watch and Disneyland is probably the best place to do that. I also love to shop the Disney stores, esp. around Christmas-time which is approaching quickly than we realize. Something that I've known about for quite sometime and I have always been interested in but have never gotten around to actually doing is the CHOCWalk at Disneyland. I am not an excersice guru. I hate running, I dislike situps, and I loath pushups. But this is something I could do. I could walk 5K around Disneyland. I feel like I do that every two weeks already. So I talked to Mr. Bumblebee and he loves the idea. So I think this is something we are going to do next year. It will be good for us and it's a GREAT cause. After Disneyland we went to Mimi's Cafe. I wasn't feeling all that well for some reason and so all I got was a salad. It was probably the fastest service ever! It was nice!! Then we went home, watched Desperate Housewives, and now we are off to bed.

Lazy Day
The hubs and I were so lazy today. We originally were going to get up and go to the new Petsmart that is opening up in the Tustin Marketplace. There were going to be freebies, 250 puppy toys for those who arrived first, and more exciting things. We set our alarms for 8:30 and we ended up rolling out of bed at 10am. Not good. We haven't slept in like that since our honeymoon so it was really nice. We got up and got dressed. Headed over to the Petsmart. Tess get a freesbie, bandana, buttons with her picture in it, treats, coupons. It was an exciting day. Then we went to lunch at Rubios. Mr. Bumblebee's favorite thing ever is the lobster burrito and about a year ago they stopped selling it. Well, they've brought it back and for a limited time only! So we had to go get a lobster burrito. When we got home, Mr. Bumblebee got to sanding down our dining room table that we are going to paint a dark brown. I got some cleaning I've been wanting to do. We ate left over pizza and then later that night decided to go out for a pazookie. They are seriously heaven. I believe fully that when I get to heaven, it will be unlimited pazookies. And I can't wait! While we waited to be seated for a table, we walked across the way to Target and bought that plane that I posted earlier. We got it for a steal because the hubby found a scratch on it and so they gave us an extra 10% off. YAY! After that we came home and now we are going to sleep. What a lazy lazy day! I can't say I feel bad for being so lazy, we totally deserve it! We haven't had a weeked like this in a long time, not once since we've been married. My belly is satisfied with my pazookie so I'm off to bed now.

T*G*I*F
I love love love Fridays. It's just a wonderous feeling that comes over you when you realize it's Friday. Mr. Bumblebee gets to come home early today and that just puts me over the moon. I think we are going to try and see a movie but I'd really like to just stay in tonight and relax with the hubby. We'll see. I do wanna see Across The Universe but I know Mr. Bumblebee isn't dying to see it. This weekend we are going to go to the grand opening of Petsmart in the Tustin Marketplace. Tessa's teacher is going to be there and promised that if we brought Tess to show off, we'd get some free stuff. So why not? Then we are gonna take her to the Dog Park in Irvine. Then I think the hubs and me are going to a night of Disneyland. Hey it's free and it's entertaining! Sunday I am hoping to get Mr. Bumblebee to sand down our dining room table and paint it black to give it an antique feel to it. I'm sure I can talk him into this because he's recently gotten a new sander and hasn't used it yet. And hopefully we can get some thank you cards done that have been lingering since the wedding. ::crosses fingers::

Puppy Class Numero Cinco
Tonight will be Tessa's 5th Puppy Class at PetsMart. She's doing so well with almost all of her classes except we are developing new habits and it's driving me up a wall. I wanted to kill her yesterday and it makes me feel bad to have such angry feelings toward this puppy. I came home and she had gotten into the trash and shreded it all over the bathroom and bedroom floor. I was so upset at her. I screamed and yelled at her and threw her in her crate. Then as I was cleaning it up it dawned on me...1. I left the bathroom door open, even though I am aware that she enjoys ripping up trash. 2. I was screaming at her...."Don't you listen?!" and I realized...she doesn't understand. So when I say..."don't get into the trash" it's not like she understands. I felt so awful. I pulled her out of her crate and gave her treats and spent some time with her. I've realized that it's just as much my fault that there is trash all over the place as it is her's (if not more...).
In other news, Mr. Bumblebee and I came to an agreement last night about Thanksgiving and how we were going to spend it. It's our first time to be with each other for Thanksgiving. Bumblebee IL's have a lot of traditions when it comes to holidays and how to spend them. My family is more loose on the subject. So we had to try and make everyone happy. We will spend Thanksgiving day with Bumblebee ILs and the rest of the weekend with my parents. We have season tickets to the UCLA football games and we have a game that Saturday against Oregon State anyways.
With fall finally approaching I've decided I need a new jacket. I don't have any nice jackets and I'm finally having a desire to have a nice jacket. I have two faves right now that I keep hinting to Mr. Bumblebee. This one is from Delia's and currently my favorite:
It looks so warm and cozy. I like the hood part of it the best. I have three jackets, all of which have no hood. This hood is actually detachable. It comes in Navy, Charcoal Gray, and Marigold. I can't decide if I want it in gray or navy.

My second favorite jacket is at American Eagle.
This one is perfect for the football games and days at Disneyland. It's light and not to heavy. Very casual. It comes in white and black.
I hope Mr. Bumblebee reads this...hint hint.

Doggie Porn
>>>>WARNING: Dog Porn Ahead<<<<
So Tess is appox. 5.5 months old. She is a FEMALE dog. However, she has this one large black stuffed bear (it was actually a Build-A-Bear that I gave my hubby awhile ago) and she humps it. She doesn't just hump the sucker, she rips it a new one on occasion. Does she not realize she is not a male? I think it's just her being dominate, but then she is so submissive with us that we can't talk to her in a high pitched voice without her leakin' everywhere. So frustrating.
We have a loft in our apartment and I've been trying to decide how I want to decorate it and Mr. Bumblebee and I finally decided on red/black/white and airplane themed. I think it's going to look really cute.
Just a few ideas...

Lombardi Ranch
This past weekend we took Tessa to Lombardi Ranch which is located in Santa Clarita. It's something my family and I have done for several years now. We all go and pick a pumpkin and go through the "Sunflower Scarecrow Maze". This year we thought it would be fun to bring Tessa. They also have a petting zoo there and we wanted to see how Tess would take to the different farm animals.
I think the Lama was her favorite. Most of the Sunflower Maze she just wanted to sit down and cool off. It was very warm that day.And finally a picture of Mr. Bumblebee, Tess, and me.
It was a lot of fun and something we'll probably do again. She did so well with all the animals and kids that were running around all over the place. And I'd like everyone to notice how cute my husband is! YAY!!
